GDA – Green Delivery Analytics

Efficient. Sustainable. Smart.

We are revolutionizing the last mile with the GDA research project. Using intelligent data analysis, we are optimizing delivery processes, reducing emissions and making delivery more sustainable and efficient. In close cooperation with our partners, we are focusing on innovative solutions to make the logistics of the future green and smart.

The challenge

Climate-neutral delivery systems such as e-transporters, cargo bikes and micro-hubs offer enormous potential for sustainable logistics. However, they differ fundamentally from conventional systems – in terms of technical performance, infrastructure requirements and costs. For municipalities and logistics providers, it is a complex task to choose the right solutions and create the necessary framework conditions to efficiently implement climate-friendly delivery.

Our solution

The “Green Delivery Analytics” project is developing an innovative system that automates and optimizes the planning of last-mile logistics. At its core is a climate-neutral modular system that flexibly combines micro-hubs, e-transporters and cargo bikes. This solution is adapted to the individual circumstances of each delivery area – from the pilot region of Bremen to transferability to the 80 largest cities in Germany.

Our approach

Based on data-driven analysis, the requirements for delivery systems and regional conditions are recorded. With the help of a prototype based on proven findings from previous research projects such as “ZMo-Gesund” and “SIP”, a smart design for sustainable logistics is being developed. By integrating the Mobilithek, an efficient and scalable software architecture is being created that will shape the future of urban logistics.

With “Green Delivery Analytics”, we are setting standards for green, efficient and economically viable last-mile logistics.
